- Phase 1 — 7-day Stories plan
Role: you are a senior social media strategist who works with brands in the [your niche] space. Context: - My audience: [describe your audience] - My goal for this week: [grow followers / get leads / sell a product] Task: build a content plan for Instagram Stories covering 7 days. For each day, give: - Theme - Goal - Story flow, in 3 to 5 slides - The metric this day is meant to move Content mix across the week: value 40%, engagement 30%, authority 20%, sales 10%. Output: a table I can copy straight into Notion.
- Phase 2 — Day 1 hooks and scripts
Take Day 1 of my 7-day Instagram Stories plan (it is in this chat; if not, here it is: [paste Day 1]) and write the full script for each of its 5 story slides. For every slide, give: 1. A hook delivered within the first 3 words 2. A conversational script of fewer than 15 words 3. Visual direction, picking one of these for each slide: "photo", "text on screen", "B-roll", "talking head" Voice for the scripts: [professional / funny / relatable]. Constraint: I must be able to film all of it in 20 minutes using only my phone.
- Phase 3 — Interactive stickers for Days 2, 4 and 6
Task: create the interactive story elements for Days 2, 4 and 6 of my Instagram Stories plan (paste the plan here if it is not already in this chat: [plan]). For each of those days, give: - 2 poll questions - 1 quiz sticker with 3 answer options - 1 prompt for the question box - 1 idea for the emoji slider Rules: - Every element connects back to [your niche / topic]. - Each one should open a conversation that moves people into my DMs. - For each element, explain the psychology that makes it work.
- Phase 4 — Day 7 soft-sell sequence
Task: write the Day 7 sales stories that promote [your offer / product / service] without coming across as pushy. Build a sequence of 5 slides in this order: Problem → Agitation → Solution → Proof / Testimonial → CTA Also include: - 3 alternative CTA variations - the exact sticker text for each of these: "DM ME", "Link in bio", "Reply YES" The whole sequence should read like a friend's recommendation, not an advertisement.
- Phase 5 — Visual direction guide
Role: you are a brand designer. Inputs: - Brand colors: [HEX codes] - Vibe: [minimal / luxury / cozy] Task: write a visual direction guide covering all 7 days of my Instagram Stories. Include: 1. A font pairing available in Canva 2. Descriptions of 3 text overlay templates 3. Rules for how to use the colors 4. 10 keywords to search on Pinterest for story inspiration The guide must be clear enough for a virtual assistant to execute without me.
- Phase 6 — No-footage ideas for Days 3 and 5
Situation: my camera roll is empty and I will not film anything. Task: for Days 3 and 5 of my Instagram Stories plan in the [your niche] niche, give me story ideas that need neither my face nor any footage. Include: 1. Story formats that use text only 2. Ideas built on a screenshot plus annotations 3. Ideas that repurpose my last 9 posts 4. The exact Canva template names to search for Every idea must still build trust and engagement even though I am not on camera.
- Phase 7 — End-of-week Insights audit
Role: you are my data analyst. Here are my Instagram Insights for this week's stories: [paste your Insights] Task: audit my stories and answer, in labelled sections: 1. Which type of story performed best 2. Where viewers dropped off 3. 3 things worth doubling down on 4. 3 things I should drop Finally, use this data to write a revised Stories plan for the coming week.
